Growing up in Croydon, London culture has always been a big influence on my photography. From Notting Hill Carnival and live music to street culture and the events happening across the city, I’m drawn to documenting the people, energy and moments that make London what it is.
I always try to have a camera strapped to me wherever I go, ready to capture moments as they naturally happen. My style is about being present rather than staging the moment, finding the colour, movement, character and emotion within everyday culture and turning those moments into images
For me, photography is more than capturing what something looked like; it’s about documenting how it felt to be there.
